An experiential marketing project for Ron Zacapa Centenario, creating an immersive VR experience that brought the brand’s story to life. My responsibilities included environment building, game design, and the technical implementation of the experience in VR.
Additionally, I developed the showreel cinematic, which involved retexturing and remodelling assets, as well as redesigning key environments to enhance visual fidelity and narrative impact.
Ron Zacapa Centenario is a premium Guatemalan rum known for its rich heritage and craftsmanship. It was created in 1976 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the town of Zacapa. The rum is made using a blend of aged rums, with some aged for up to 23 years, and is matured at high altitudes to develop its smooth character. The name Zacapa comes from the Nahuatl word meaning "on the river of grass." The brand is also recognised for its distinctive packaging, originally wrapped in handwoven palm leaf matting inspired by Mayan traditions.
